Do you ever need models?

Actually, yes! We often look for models for almost all of our services. We use models for training purposes as well as for marketing/social media content. Models must agree to the use of photos/videos taken during your appointment to be used publicly. A model fee does apply and must be paid at the time of appointment scheduling. Models enjoy 60% off regular prices. To be considered, follow the link below.

What is your late, cancellation, and no-show policy?

At The Skin Medic, time is valuable. A valid credit card is required at time of booking to secure the appointment time whether booking online or by phone.

Your Credit Card is not charged unless you cancel less than 24 hours or no show your appointment. I do understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies must be honored:

  • Please provide 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 48 hours advance notice you will be charged 50% of the amount of the service booked to the credit card on file.

  • Same day cancellations will incur a fee of 100% of the scheduled treatment. This will be charged to the credit card on file. If no credit card is on file or if it has expired or declines payment for any reason, you will be required to pay the fee before we can schedule any future appointments.

  • A no-show is considered as not showing up for the appointment at all, contacting us after the appointment start time, and anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” All no-shows will be charged 100% of the value for their “missed” appointment, without exception. If no credit card is on file or declines you will be invoiced through our booking system for the missed appointment and the invoice must be paid before any other appointments will be scheduled in the future.

I had Botox/Filler. How long do I need to wait before my next treatment?

We want to wait approximately 2 weeks after you receive any kind of neurotoxins or filler.

I recently had Eyebrow / Lip tattooing. How long do I need to wait before my next treatment?

Please allow your new tattoo to fully heal prior to your next treatment.

What are you doing to keep your clients safe?

We take cleanliness and sanitation seriously. With COVID, we’re extra cautious.

At the beginning of each service we wash my hands thoroughly and use hand sanitizer. We repeat this often throughout your service.

A new clean mask is used with each client.

After each service the bedding is changed and bed is wiped down with CAVA-CIDE before making the bed with clean sheets.

All tools and implements are washed and sanitized.

High touch surfaces are wiped down between each service.

And we do it all over again with each new appointment.

I think I may be sick. Should I keep my appointment?

For the safety of our aestheticians, studio neighbors, and other guests, if you are showing signs of being ill, been exposed to COVID or are waiting for COVID test results, please reschedule your appointment. All policies will be enforced.

How early should I arrive for my appointment?

First time clients, please arrive about 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow time for paperwork.

Returning clients may arrive at the scheduled appointment time.

Are you hiring?
